Do they make race tires???

Several weeks ago, Continental announced a new "strategic partnership" with Hoosier, so I would bet that the tires are Conti branded Hoosiers.

Conti and Hoosier have an alliance to share marketing and R&D. Tires will still be "Hoosier" (not sure how they will be branded) and shocks will still be Koni from what I have heard.

That's a mouth full.

Reminds me of how re-dick-u-less it sounds when the drivers say "this 'Insert sponsor name' - 'insert car type' - 'don't forget to including chassis and engine maker' is really performing awesome out there today."

I wouldn't put Continentals on my daughter's tricycle.

Methinks that anyone in this forum who has the spare $$ laying around to sponsor you would simply call up any number of teams and spend that $$ to go racing themselves. There's no lack of teams looking for drivers with cash at this point.

Yes. That is a good idea but its never going to happen. Continental is not going to pay all that sponsorship $$ and allow their name to be shorted to 'C'. No way!

We are going hear - GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge - over and over and over.
