I like how the engine ran submerged for 15 minutes... I'd think, if I launched a Veyron into the ocean at 130 MPH, after I realized the warm water around me wasn't ****, I'd turn the thing off and then climb out.

without question, he's protecting the salesman who told him the car was amphibious. that's why he left the motor on for 15 minutes. he really, really wanted it to plane out.

Rumor here in Houston is that the bird he was racing was of the Peregrin Falcon variety also known as a HAYABUSA! This particular bird has a 1420cc engine with a turbo! Seems that the same rumor also notes that the Veyron was LOSING the race when he LOST it!!
You would think that the tow truck driver would understand he is recovering a Million Dollar+ car and that would come with a VERY HIGH recover payday from the insurance provider... he could forego trying not to get his fat **** into the water and strap to something other than the wheel. Also note how the chains dug into the left rear and the horrible sound of the nose being ripped off along the ground from the steep rollback deck angle.
Nothing but Texas' Finest!!

There is something very staged about this whole thing.
