911 Axel Shaft and Hub

911 Axel Shaft and Hub
I think this refers to 3.0L models only. 3.2L may have gone back to the 10mm size.
Has anybody converted their 8mm bolt axle shafts and hubs to the 10mm bolt size used on the Turbo?
I took my car in for full inspection today and we found two of the 8mm shaft to wheel hub bolts had sheared off leaving only 4. This could have been a catastrophic failure. This is more common than you might think.
I'm having all the bolts changed on both sides and repacking the CV joints.
These bolts should be checked at the end of each race. 31 lbs/ft.

Yeah, the technical can be dry but there is a pretty good size group racing these cars here and I'm trying to poll the failure rate. I'm considering upgrading and the cost is substantial.
Does Schnorr manufacture these components?
I don't know when these pieces were last changed. The car began it's life in Club Racing in 1998. One side has been changed for sure because it has the newer, thinner flange.
Do you guys have the 6 bolt, 8mm style?
Ever broke any bolts?
