And then Brawn is questioned about moving toward a new change in drivers. Did the fact that Brawn took his NEW 2009 team to the 2009 Driver's Championship, a 3rd place in the Driver's Championship, and the overall 2009 Constructor's Team Championship, just fail to make a significant impression?
Changing things up to find the BEST chemistry may NOT be the way of some, but it can hardly be said to be the wrong way for Brawn and other true intelligent innovators. Now the other F1 teams need to play catchup to Brawn and his NEW brilliant ideas for next year.
Red Bull should dump Webber. I know he won a few races, but he's an *** and someone else could go faster in that car. Alonso at Ferrari is lame. I also wonder about how fast and reliable Massa will be post-accident. McLaren should try to get Kimi back. They could be dominate next year. It doesn't matter who drives for the US team next year, as the whole season will be a building experience.
Local press in Argentina is reporting that "pechito" Lopez is having talks with USF1 team with true chances to get a seat. This guy made his career in formula cars, he has about 10k miles as Renault F1 tester. The drawback, he's been racing touring cars for the last 2 years, although he's winning every category his races on, even against a couple of ex F1 drivers...
Aren't the teams going to be allowed 4 cars per team, and an increase in the field size to accommodate that as well?
I thought I read that some place.
Nope.
There was discussion about 3 cars but that is not happening either.
Line-ups:
Kimi's McLaren contract is basically done.
Rosberg's Brawn deal as well.
Trulli has a decent chance of staying at Toyota with "Kobe" (that deal is done and because of his drive, Toyota most likely isn't "done") although Kovalainen still has a chance of getting a seat there. At the moment, Trulli looks to be getting it.
However... ltc & many others here who belong to Sato's fan club, ARE YOU READY?!?!
There should be good news for you guys soon and those news will come from Lotus.
The bit on the USF1 shop was about all they have to show. ~10 design engineers, on a monthly contract. Unimpressed to be honest. What will be impressive is if they get a car on the ground in January.

I hope that for Lotus's sake they have a crash damage waiver wih Sato.

Surprised he agreed to do any appearances...I wonder if he will get a McLaren SLR to go with his Ferrari Enzo.

Should be a good fit.

+ 1 on Kobe getting the drive, clearly earned it and is the best Japanese F1 driver in quite a while.
-1 on Trulli...just seems too inconsistent for some reason.
Not sold on that pairing....I think Heikki might be a better fit with Kobe

There aren't enough front wings for a full season with Takuma-san...
What do you mean "even for you"? I maintain the highest standards of propriety concerning F1. Hey, I was even appointed the resident adult here, just ask Lewis.
You've obviously missed that Ken Anderson owns one of the nicest wind tunnels in the world, right? 180 mph rolling road. F1 teams have been flying their cars over from Europe to use the tunnel since it was built. http://www.windshearinc.com/

I'm messing with you Larry. With the absense of Wayne, your services are now, as they say in jolly 'ol England, "redundant". Back to the unemployment line, eh?
The crazy thing now is that I've traded Flying Finn for Wayne as rooting partners!! If Kimi goes to McLaren, it'll be Wayne and I against Dez and the Finn. Lewis isn't coming back to the reds until Alonso is gone and Sato in.

BTW did Fisichella possibly screw himself out of a seat for next year by jumping at the open Ferrari seat? He was certainly impressive right before the move, but basically non existent after is. I think it's quite possible he might have ruined his long term future by jumping at short term fame. If Force India take Luizzi, don't think he has many options, and they may have a little chip on their shoulder because he left like that.
