If you are like a number of people who had attended the NNJR /VIR event and got frustrated at the situations...we all know what I mean, well that is in everyones rearview mirror. I attended this year and the management of the clubs event was truly spectacular. My hats off to the NNJR team that works very had to provide so many with safe, educational fun events. I don't know if Dave and Arlene provided Bob Michaelson the direct line for perfect weather or if he had his own connection but mid 60's and 70's plenty of sunshine and no one was cranky at all. This is a don't miss event!

Thanks, NNJ PCA for a fantastic experience! You are a courteous, fun group of enthusiasts. I enjoyed every minute. I hope you all had a safe trip home, and I hope I see you again soon.

Bob

Yes "177 mph", I agree with your assessment.

But did you learn anything?

I HAVE TO THANK LISA & THOMAS GOECKEL FOR TALKING MY WIFE INTO THE TRIP. IT WAS GREAT FUN (EVEN WITH THE 13 HR DRIVE) AND WILL BECOME A STAPLE TO MY YEARLY TRAVELS. HOW CAN YOU PASS UP WARM AFTERNOON WEATHER, GREAT TRACK CONDITIONS, GOOD FRIENDS AND SCENIC VIEW'S THAT KEEP THE WHOLE FAMILY SMILLING.

It was a great event although I am not sure if everyone stopped by for the sausage and peppers. i had to throw some out we had so much. tech line was cold and Friday i though the line would go on forever. The 12 hour drive home was no fun either but otherwise it was a great way to end the season.

You just clipped the front of my wife coming around the turn. Would ahve been a good shot. have any others?

Prior to going, I was told:
You'll hate the drive down, love the track, and then think about returning on the return trip home. They were right!

a few years back the event had a few issues. I believe it was the longest thread on Rennlist to date. That will tell the old story...and that is what is in the rearview mirror.
NNJR track crew did a spectacular job! Anyone who didn't have a great time, is their own fault!
Great weather, great track, great people. It's just that simple!
