Paint choice

Hi guys,
I spent the last week or so stripping the interior of my car and am ready to spray it. I have a compressor and just bought a spray gun but need advice on paint choice. Not color but type, quantity and where to source it from. I need a primer and then base coat and laquer (or could go for an all in one as it is only the interior and does not need to have a high shine.)
I plan on respraying the exterior so think I will need a gallon of primer (inside and out) and just a quart of interior base coat.
any advie and supplier?

I just bought their Eastwood brand epoxy primer based on Gary's recommendation. It's the same as the brand Kirker - just with the Eastwood label.
Gary R just bought paint from http://www.tcpglobal.com/Restorationshop/ and I think he's happy with it.
It's a track car, don't break the bank.

I have had good luck with Dupont paints from Orileys. The paint job in my avitar is home done in my garage and looks pretty good. I reciently did it again on fiberglass and looks great. Any good paint is not that cheap. Just a little practice and its not that hard at all. get a good respirator.

Rusto hammer finish. Hides everything from scratches to dead mice, Comes in quarts that can be sprayed or brushed as well as rattle cans. Easy to touch up. 2 coats, light one first round with a quick buff with a foam sander to knock down the dirt and fuzz stuck in the paint and a thicker second.

Dan - is the exterior down to bare metal also? If so for the exterior I would use a metal prep, then epoxy primer, then a high build primer to block out, then a single stage urethane. For the interior just the prep, an epoxy primer, and whatever color single stage you want. Just follow the instructions on the epoxy as there are timing parameters to adhere to for overcoat. Be sure to wear a proper mask and protection. If the interior finish isn't all that important you can always do it with a brush and/or rollers... don't have to worry about masking/overspray.
The trunk finish for the interior (as Kurt mentioned) is fine also if that's a look you like. Durable and easy to repair if you chip it up..

Having develped automotive paint for 40 years..I am making the rash assumption that the color of choice is non-,etallic for the interior..if so go with a single stage urethane topcoat..that is paint plus activator..DuPont Nason brand is a good inexpensive quality..the urethane activator is the expensive part..$100/quart..therefore, I wouyld stick with the same brand for interior and exterior to maximize efficiency..As far as primers..if you need no filling properties I would use DuPont 615S/616S..two part..1:1 mix ratio chrome etch primer..fairly cheap and no rusting problems..excellent for bare metal..
