Sean - I grabbed the two tires at MSR and brought them to Plano, thinking that would be easier for you. I have all 4 in Plano now.

Question Recommendations for helmet and where to buy locally?

Hey guys...taking the Twin out for a spin at EC this weekend and need a helmet. Being a motocrosser for several years, I know each fits differently..Is there a good place in Dallas to look at a nice selection and also what is your favorite helmet...I'm looking at a Simpson Stingray Carbon Fiber helment that is lightweight and not white..$679.00 on-line..any thoughts and advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance Frank

Smileys (I got my Bell helmet at Smileys), or Performance Speed Tech at MSR.

[edit: if your old moto helmet is rated M2000 or newer, you can use it at the DE]

Wanted to say thanks to the Maverick Region volunteers for putting on another great DE. Weather was perfect (until late Sunday afternoon when the front moved in). And the cookout/happy hour on Saturday night was a great addition (thanks Keith!). For those that missed it, you missed a fantastic event! ECR has made some tremendous improvements to the track and, based on what we heard from the owners this weekend, it sounds like they will be doing a lot more in the coming months.
