Hi Guys - had a new tire get a split in the sidewall causing a flat after a 3 hour drive home from the track last week. Uggh. Had to borrow a buddy's slick tire for the last hour home - looked like a hot rod!

Anyone have a used but in good condition Toyo RA1 they are selling so I can keep my other good one? My toyo guy says the RA1's won't be reintroduced until the R888's are sold out.

I'd rather not have to buy two Nitto tires since my one RA1 is pretty much new!

I called Toyo directly a few months ago, and they said that the rumors of RA-1s being unavailable (for the most part) was inaccurate. They indicated that the majority of sizes are still being produced and distributed.

I would check the online places for a new tire. I just checked 1010tires and they show 275/35-18 in stock. I'm sure other places have them available as well. Also, I saw some RA-1s on eBay recently as well. Let us know if you strike out with the online retailers (if you take that route).
