Dicing it up at Summit Point.......
Part of the second red sprint where I had the opportunity to race closely with several RLs........
The first 5 min. is footage of me and Arlequin going at it......
I still have lots to learn......

Paolo-
Nice, consistent driving. I've race at SP but am by no mean an expert...however, it seems like in a couple of corners you left some track out (thus you can go faster...). Nice driving though.

Grazie Bob.......
My camera for some reason didn't like the rough turtles at T10 no matter how tight I set the screws......

If you can't tighten that thing down, you certainly have to have the strap on it in case it comes loose. If that went down to the pedal box it wouldn't be good. Worse, if you were to have an impact and it became a projectile, it's potentially lethal. Anyone remember the name Patrick Jacquemart? Killed in a simple spin (Renault R5) when something came loose, I think his extinguisher.

I concur with Peter. Also, to Franks point, he is correct. At very rouugh tracks like SP and Sebring, you might consider duct-taping the camera to the mount. Duct tape is easy to remove, but will prevent a projectile-vomiiting moment in the middle of a heavy brake zone.

I've watched most of the videos that are posted, if not all, I still haven't seen anyone maximize the exit of the carousel sufficiently to get the best run all the way to bridge. That's the whole key to Summit Point.
You also followed that green 911 way too long, he gave 20 opportunities.
Just my dental opinion, of course!

I think you're plenty aggressive, just not picking the best spots.
Still, compared to where you were last year, it's like you've graduated and become a post-grad!
Just look at you; you're a commited Club Racer!

Whenever you are behind someone who you are faster than, PASS THEM ASAP. You wasted two laps...at least. You should have had him in Turn 1 a couple of times. Just go deep enough to stay in front of him in the turn-in and don't back out. Your first instinct was right a couple of times but you backed out....
I always imagine when I'm behind someone that the track is going to go full yellow in three turns and stay that way until the checker. Do you want to be in 2nd place because you didn't have enough of a sense of urgency when passing?
