Decades ago when I drove at Bryar Park (aka Loudon, now NHMS) we used to run the track once a year in the CCW direction and referred to it as Loudon Seca. With the 'new' config it's aways CCW now.

It's a lot of fun to run a track backwards but obviously most aren't set up run off and safety worker wise for such events.

I'm sure the neighbors just LOVE those things running around. Doesn't LRP have a pretty stringent sound limitation for race/DE weekends?

Yes LRP is pretty tight on noise, I think the restriction is 98db

I got a special muffler that came with my car designed for LRP. I have never had it on. I was told once at Roebling where to lift because I was red lining the db meter. No prob at Barber. Surprise!

I don't like anti clock wise tracks.

What car was that?

Why not?

FYI, they won't let you lift at Roebling any more. The city has been doing surprise soundchecks in 9 and 1 or 2, and cars that consistently fail but are not pulled off track by the track control generate a big fine for the track for intentionally allowing lifting. Best bet is to short shift on the main straight.

At Pocono it's common to run the north infield in different directions - north course vs long course.
