Default The SmartyCam is now available

After a long wait they are finally here.

http://www.smartycam.com/index_eng.htm

If anyone has any questions feel free to send me a message. I should have one out at VIR for the member days this weekend.

Thanks to a hacker my online store is currently down. If you're interested in one please contact me by PM or email and we can process your order.

Thanks.

Finally!
Am I right its not HD (which isn't necessarily a problem)?
Any experiences with the optional external mic?
Lets just say I wanted it delivered to MA by Monday; is this possible?
And finally - if I am going to connect to my AIM MXL Pista for data and power, is there anything I need other than the camera as shipped? I already have an I/O Port mount.

Hi Gary
Since you seem to know what this stuff means - what do you think of the 'movie format' specs? Since its just for personal use and Vimeo-type streaming, I don't think I 'need' HD.

I'm no expert Rick, but to say you "need" HD, no. At this point it's the least expensive way to directly integrate data/video from AIM.

Thanks; looking forward to receiving it.
Just think, only costs as much as 2.x Hoosiers (and should last a lot longer).
