Default Boxster Spec & general camber set up question

Werkstatt hosted a great open house yesterday for the Shenandoah & Blue Ridge PCA clubs.

In looking at one of the Spec Boxsters that was up on a lift I noticed that the left side GT 3 control arms were shimmed more that the right side.

Since most tracks around here run counter clockwise I was wondering if this was "the norm" with those of you who are more experienced in this than I. I've always set up both sides the same...

Your comments please.

PS. The cages were fantastic!

OK I'll bite.....

I think that's backwards for a CCW track. I suppose you could make an argument that running more camber on the inside tire keeps it more firmly planted, but it's the unloaded tire and has less impact on cornering. Running more camber on the outside tire where the weight shifts under cornering makes more sense to me....

DUH!
I guess it is a Monday. My mistake. Most tracks here run clockwise...

Now back to the discussion...

Hmm, most of us run symmetric camber on CW and CCW tracks.

That does seem odd but I am sure Scott did it for a reason. I run our cars all the same on bottom.
