Corbeau v. Sparco Racing seats
I am interested in any opinions relating to Corbeau racing seats they make an FX1 racing seat that looks to be the same seat and the Sparco Evo except its half the price same fiberglass construction.
Any comments.

Correct. My brother uses the FX-1 pro in his RX-7. They changed the materials they use for their cloth seats and it's actually a damn nice seat esp for the money. The non-FIA cert thing sucks though.
Frank...if you want to sit in on of the Corbeau's anyhow I've got one sitting in my basement you could try out the fit.

Thanks all, I was in a hurry to get a seat because my current race car project is going to Mark McMann to get the roll cage welded in on Monday and I want him to fab the cage around the seat. I went with the Sparco Circuit Pro which is a Halo seat, so I can avoid using the net to the right of the driver. Thanks for the input guys.

I have Corbeau FX1's in my car. VERY flexy under cornering.
I haven't been super fond of them.
They seem like the "poor man's Sparco".
I'm looking at changing them out in the off season.
If they did, indeed change their materials, good for them.
The FIA status is pretty important, tho, imho.

What do you think about the circuit pro as I am thinking about changing to this seat over the winter
