Thanks MKK62. Sorry if I was distracted when we met. Between the car not behaving on Saturday and having a student, the day was a bit hectic.

I'm jealous. The pictures we usually get at our DEs are lame at best.

I may take copies of these with me to the next DE to show the photographer. I'd buy one of these in a heatbeat. Pictures of my car in a parade lap aren't very interesting.

Zmann - enjoyed seeing you at Chin and yes - you were really moving on Sunday. The lesson is rubber gives more grip than cords...

My avatar is T3 2-wheel fun from Henry as well...

Cheers

Randy,

The only cars that I see going 2 wheels up on T3 are the 944s. is that because they are so light?

Good getting to know you. look forward to the next adventure.

Default Thanks from #49

Eric, I went ahead and emailed Henry for some pics of our fun filled weekend. Appreciate all you taught me, even though we got cut short due to rain. Lets see, threshold braking, trail braking, overcoming my turn 12 crash tape......all good stuff that if you hadnt pushed me going into turn ten that first day, I never, ever would have gotten. My son Walker loves, loves, loves your car and took a few pics himself. This is the one he ordered a copy of last night to put up in his room. Headed to Roebling next Friday for "lapping" day. Never been there, so excited to see a new track. Thanks for the intro to Matt and his team. Without that lunch time brake job, I was done for the weekend. Matt at Motorwerks Racing saved the day for the Stipe team. I would recommend he and his team of pro's to anyone!

Hey Greg, I packed up and headed out in the heavy rain then realized I hadn't said ciao. I circled back around and saw your car, but no driver or son.

I thoroughly enjoyed instructing you. Just sorry that it was cut short. You learned very quickly - picking up trail braking faster than any student I'd had before. Sorry for questioning your right leg on Saturday before the brake work. Happy to know that you can stand the car up going into 10a now that you have good fluid and pagids.

Have fun this weekend. Start slow and get to know the track.

Tell Walker that I said hello. Z

BTW, thank him for taking the one pic where I am ahead of that go cart. He was very quick.

Not sure, it's either due to the balance of the cars, or the basic instability of the drivers. I'm sure I've seen other race cars that way so I think it is just due to a combination of the spring rates relative to the weight of the cars and a little bit the gleeful abandon with which we launch ourselves over that curb. To me it means I'm starting the 3-4-esses-5 combo which is my favorite anywhere. Finally, I'm headed pretty much straight over it and it looks like your butt is hung out a bit and your rear tire doesn't catch as much curb.

Hope to see you and that good looking car again soon.

Cheers
Randy

Nice pics, like the Sebring T17 right fron wheel lift ;-) The car looks better with black wheels IMHO.
