Default 911SC Headers - please help

I just removed a set of pre-74 heat exchangers and Monty 2-in 2-out muffler from my 1980 911SC. When I installed these, I had to back-date the oil lines. Now I am trying to install a set of used headers that look very much like European Racing Headers, which I will run with megaphones or shorty mufflers.

So, the problem is the front, highest pipe of the header on the passenger side wants to share space with the back-dated oil line that runs in front of the oil cooler and under the bell housing. Can I go back to the original oil lines or will they conflict somewhere else?

Don, here's the original oil line on my 3.2 with European Racing headers. I'm not sure if it's the same on the 3.0.
It's tight, but it works.

Steve and Josh,

Thank you very much. Steve, you last picture is just what I needed. Your highest pipe is in front of the oil line. Mine hits it there. My headers must be copies, or another brand.

Josh, your pictures show me that I can go back to the original oil line setup and be fine. And waht are all those screws and bolts through your passenger floorboard? I hope to be able to make the NASA race at VIR in October.

Don

Hi Don. I have a pair of M&K race mufflers if you're interested. If you are, send me an email and I'll send you some pictures.
