Sounds like a plan! We can piggy back it onto a PCA DE. I'm sure Globe would be up for it.

Here's a link to my one and only off track adventure of the weekend. BMW in front of me spewed a cloud of antifreeze going down the hill between T6 and T7. Note the cloud of steam in the video. All I could think of was that the cars behind me might end up on top of me, so I was all about getting the hell out of the corner pocket asap.

Hey, that's what happens when you're in car that you drive WOT 100% of the time. You needed to get off the gas for once in order to miss that!

BTW, is it just me, or was that BMW spewing antifreeze from the front of the car? That's just weird!!

Glad you all had a good time and good weather! Wish I could have made it.

Oops, you missed a blade.

I love the visceral sound of your tranny over the engine and road noise. Is it more audible because of the camera location?

I can't afford to not stay at wide open throttle in the miata with only 120hp.

The benefit of spewing antifreeze from the front is that you coat your own tires with antifreeze resulting in some great spins.

Sorry you weren't there. It was a great time. Of course hanging with Gene, CJ, Dean, and Dave, you know it's going to be a party!

Am I going to need to hose everything down when I get back out there on Thursday?

Some videos. They work better in HD. I just ordered a wide angle lens for obvious reasons.

I can help you improve your videos. I need to ride with you next time to give you some pointers.

it is a VIO POV bullet cam with the recorder/mic located in the engine bay. Not sure that it is going to pickup any tranny noise since the transaxle is in the rear. There is alot of fast'n furious dump valve noise though

I was going to guess that was the blow-off valve for the turbo we were hearing. Either that or you are doing 3 upshifts before Ricochet based on the number of times we hear it between T10 and Ricochet!

Here's my $.02 that you didn't ask for:
You're too far left under initial braking for rattlensnake, there's more grip about a car width+ off the left side.
You're losing a lot of time at the hump and entering toilet bowl by lifting.
You can use the rumble strips at turn in for ricochet.

Nice!!!! I've seen those lines before somewhere. I thought only a black 993 could take those... What do I know.

Anyway, the only thing I noticed is that you apex little bend a bit later than I do. I really go in early and let the car rotate. Oh yeah, the extra little camber at the apex really helps. It one of those trust things. Other than that, I thought I was watching one of my own. Damn...
