Dave - is there ANY way you can give me a check ride so that I can run in yellow atleast.

Ritesh.
If I am asked by a team leader, sure. I have absolutely zero control over that process, however, nor can I instigate it. Sorry.

If you're driving your Cup and have the passenger seat installed, would love to grab a ride during a Red session. Failing that, may be I can get a ride during our days with Patrick?

Sure thing. Likely will run the 6, will have 2 seats in the 6 and 7 in prep for Pat Long so it should work out fine either way. If it's raining, will rum the spec miata on slicks for fun/ car control practice some also.

For those making tire selections. The sun is forecast to pop out later today, rain forecast is at 10% for the weekend. See you there.

It was raining like cats and dogs last weekend, and virtually everyone that went off needed to be towed out. But everyone stayed close to the pavement since the speeds were way down - so no issues with there.

But if the track is dry this weekend - I would leave an extra few percent on the table. Imagine how hard it's going to be digging someone out after a full speed track exit from ricochet. Yikes! And going off sideways anywhere could be pretty dramatic.

Ya'll be careful and play nice!

It rained at the track this afternoon and again this evening. It's pretty damp out here so yes, going off will put a BIG DAMPER on the rest of the session. Didn't get a close look at the bottom of the track close to the main entrance. That area always has lots of water and some mud. We're gonna have to be careful tomorrow!

Dave,

Thanks for the coaching on Saturday. Shortened session, but I got some great pointers as a result.

Glen, thanks for the ride. You Cup guys can ride on rails! Amazing mechanical grip.

Thanks to Maverick Region for another great event!

fantastic weekend. The Mav boys definitely set the bar - the handling of Sat morning's fiasco was top notch and they did a great job to get things back on track (pun intended)!
