Congrats to the 2009 944 Cup National Champions: Bill Comat for the Cup class in his Rivieria blue 2.5 L 944 and Karl Poeltl for the Super Cup class in his red Racers Edge 944S2. This was the largest Cup Nationals in the 4 years of the event and boasted the best 944 drivers and cars assembled for Nationals.

Karl roughed up the field taking the poles and winning both races against a host of Turbos, thought by many to be unbeatable. Bill bucked some tough odds with speed and consistency, and prevailed against a field of very good racers from the U.S and Canada.

 

Well, Clark, that certainly was fun, while it lasted. We're all gonna miss you and Linda, but I know I'll see you around.
