DIY Towing for Boxster - Will Wood Hitch & Utility Trailer

Hi John, maybe try reaching out to the guys below (they took over the Wilwood hitch business).
I remember installing a generic (Curt?) wiring harness based on their recommendation?
Edit - yup, it was a definitely a powered Curt wiring kit, mounted to the left rear tail light. The powered box is small, the size of deck of cards. I have it stuck to the engine bay with double sided tape. Then again, this is a 2004, not a 2015.

The link is broken to this description and the pics aren’t showing up. Am tempted to hook up a trailer to my 2015 Boxster and am having a hard time finding any wiring information.
I know this is an old thread but any help would be appreciated. Even the pics.
thanks,

I ordered from SporTTows in late 2018 and installed the receiver on my 2006 Cayman S, then upgraded to a 2012 Cayman R and transferred it over. Took a few weeks to get the parts, but everything arrived and it works great. Unless you flip up my rear license plate, there's no indication the car has a hitch. Highly recommend.
