Only the ones that belong in the group can be there - and it is limited to about 5 per DE. We sneak them in with the Red Group - since they are not instructors - we consider them diluted...
And Veloce - that isn't quite a thong - but you got the right idea.... We had one guy last time and well, I'm still laughing.....

LOL - if they are involved in the car world around here - I probably know them. I use to edit Auto Events - I organize 2 DEs a year - member of umpteen car clubs - and presently, the President of the Southeast Regional Car Council. Whew. And it's only a hobby!
By the way - it's a nice road to be on. It's what the locals call the Estate Side of Rose Hill.
P.S. Oh, and you can bring them with you for fun at the track... Paolo once told me if he came down he'd cook for us -- we already have Saturday Italian dinner night planned - the more the merrier....
Shall I invite my chiropractor to give out massages too? That was a tip from Chris of www.clubregistration.net....LOL

Is it just me or that track really looks dangerous? I mean there are trees 3 to 4 feet away from the track with just a couple of tires in front of them...

how different does your car feel with the new suspension?

I too was at the COM NHMS event.
I got to meet Paolo!.....very nice guy as many of you know who have met him IRL.
NHMS is a really different track with its 11-12 turns (depending who's counting) over a scant 1.6 miles with some serious elevation changes! The chicane at the end of the front straight in Paolo's video was reconfigured over the past few months because they found a river under the track which needed to be 'relocated.' The new T1 is slower/tougher but better paved!
I really enjoyed the variety of cars at the event. There was a very cool Austin Healey track car, an Ariel Atom, a variety of interesting open wheel racers, Subarus/Evos, Mustangs (MANY), lots of BMWs, and a few p-cars mainly from people like Paolo and folks I know from PCA. Some of those old muscle cars on the track had tremendous power and clearly had decent suspension given their vintage. Don't get me wrong, I'll never stop drinking the p-Kool-Aid but those big V8s sounded really sweet.
I stayed for the time trial today which COM has been doing forever. The last time I ran with them was in the early 80s and they did it the same way (4 cars on track with 20 sec spacing). I won't know my times for a few days but my iPhone track logger managed to record one lap at 1:21.5 and then recorded another 17 minutes as another lap.
Anyhow,....nice meeting you Paolo!

Dave, nice meeting you too.....
Fred, the car feels much more responsive with the new suspension.....
I just need to take her to a more conventional track and really spend some quality time with her........
Any inputs on really mastering the much stiffer suspension are appreciated......
