They are strong but are app. 2#'s heavier than the Fikse's I took off the car.

Thanks Peter.

This is what I thought. I currently have Fikse's on my 951 and was looking for a light and solid set of rain wheels...

Are they quite heavier than Fikse's? Does anyone has specs for a 17 x 8 or 17 x 9?

Thanks

C.

You will never notice a 2lb difference, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

FYI - I have run Fikse FM5's and FM10's over the years. The CCW's are stronger (less damage from an occasional curb hop, off, etc) and less expensive. Plus they are still what I would consider a light wheel, I believe those items make them a great value.
The ones that I have are also a 1 piece wheel so no leaks from the barrel to deal with.

What size tires are you running with the Hoosiers?

Thanks,

275 fronts
315 rears

I won't go into great detail but depending on driving style, track, car set up, some will be faster with the smaller tires. We have run both and this works better for us.

I hear a lot of good stuff about CCW.
If I get to do it over, it is what I will buy, they really stand behind their product!

Always a good experience dealing with them. Very helpful with custom sizing, etc.

John and Chip are the best. Turn around time is very quick and weigh barely 20 pounds. On my RSA, both wheels (front and rear) were under 21 pounds.

Here are some close-up pics of the same wheels that are on the white GT3 at the top of the thread. Notice that the angle of the flash has an effect on the visible roughness of the shot-peened surface. On average, the roughness is not really visible to the naked eye beyond 10 ft., where it takes on a matte grey look. Check out the wheel that is furthest from the camera in the first pic to get an idea.
