Leh and Dirk did a fantastic job of staying pacient, while the 70 mazda looked like they might lap the field. Once the last third of the race came. The 87 was just amazing...and managed not to get knocked out by the jackass in the yellow Pontiac. What the hell was THAT guy thinking and how didn't he get multiple black flags? Baffling when the Brumos 59 got flagged because the 6 had his head in his ***.
It was a great event. Brumos Porsche put on a fantastic event. Lots of fun!

Excellent pass by Leh in T1 at the start. Great defense by Dirk on the 7 in the last few laps. They're on fire!

Sweet! Thanks. It weill be interesting to see the race from T.V. rather than behind the pits.
Now, the question is can I stay awake long enough. Holy crap the Sun was brutal out there. There were numerous crew members and drivers that were clearly suffering from heat exhaustion. Some looked to be really close to the danger level.

BTW, can ANYONE give me one good reason why the freaking Mazda's should be so freaking screachy loud? It was ridiculous!

Also, what's the story with the two 8 cylinder Porsche DP cars? From where does this power plant come? Is it Cayenne based? What's the story?

TIA

The Mazda engine makes power up high, thus the revs and subsequent noise.

Yes, Cayenne based. Running without factory support, from what I understand.

Leh and Dirk are really hooked up this season. They would be a great addition to ALMS GT2.

That 87 car of Leh's/Farnbacher-Loles is dialed in at Daytona.

Quick Reply: Props to Leh Keen!!!!
