As I don't have a vid of the one crash I've been in, how about someone stepping up to get it started?
I don't have a video of my one and only crash. However I can say I didn't do it half assed. I did a great job! Totalled the car coming out of 16 at Sebring. I knew to drive straight into the grass and tried to do so, but it must be trickier than it seems, so I'd appreciate any input on that as I'm about to venture back to Sebring in my Boxster for the first time since the crash. I do have some radiographs of some dental screwups if you'd like me to share. How about a furcal perf?

After that event, I bought a basic zip-up coverall (long sleeves and pants), and I put it on (over my shorts and t-shirt) only when my run group is on track.
Another good thing to have are pants that the legs zip off. The only cotton ones I could find were at Cabelas.

OK, then, let them see a perf. Are you an endodontist?

I hate that one, took out your whole team, didn't it?
I hate those blue bushes, especially at that spot!

You did a whole lot better at Mosport, just saw it last night.
You guys run like a freight train.

Yup it did take out the whole team. It sucked but so is life. We got the cars back together and won at Road America that year.

Glad you liked the Mosport race. Nose to tail the whole race does make for some fun racing.

Check out the Watkins Glen race July 22nd at 2 PM EST. It ends better than the YouTube video

Default re: "crashes", "mistakes" & "screwups"

might I propose " unfavorable outcomes" instead? ...I think that gets closer to the truth in BOTH (driving & dentistry) disciplines ...(ie; they're not always "mistakes" or "screwups" - but they are unfavorable outcomes... )

I'm a pretendodontist...a gp limited to endo. I'll spare the perf photos. Don't want to scare any of our motorhead friends away from the dental office. After all root canals are like teenagers. All you hear about are the bad ones but most of them are terrific!

End of the video, VIR oak tree turn a few weeks ago. Went in a little hot, big front tires, a little more rear brake bias, hit the curb a little hard, all added up to some bent metal.

With practice, you'll learn that you can apply gentle throttle when the back end steps out to let the weight shift back and increase grip on the rear tires so the car does not spin.

Oh yeah, and my name is Marc, not Shaw.

Mike, I like the way that you grind the gears a little at the end of the video, just to show the car that you weren't happy with what it did.
