Everytime I watch that I can't believe how much damage it did to your car as it really didn't look or sound like that hard a hit.

It felt like a hard hit to me and steve

If Steve and I weren't so close to each other when we hit it would have been a lot worse for me.

My most recent off-track excursion.

Turned in early and hit a small dip in the pavements that unsettled the rear......um, I mean it was the car.

Shaw, seems like you didn't react during that spin AT ALL.

And Trackcar, they let you run in shorts down there? Maybe your sandals got hung up on the pedals?

Thanks for posting, guys, but I'm still waiting for the one I started this for....

You're lucky. Texas is much hottter than Flori-DUH, but we still must wear long pants.

That's just to protect you Texas flowers from saddle chafe when riding around the paddock, right?

Hey, nancy-boy, down here, oversteer and understeer are terms commonly used in by the Animal Husbandry majors!

Actually I think it was and PBOC event..
In Supersolo we have to wear race suit. I am thinking about quitting SuperSolo till after the summer heat.
You have to jump form students car to your own or vice versa and I was getting loopy from the heat after 30 minutes....

It is great to drive in shorts.
At VIR last weekend at least they let us run short sleeves.

Considering some new cars (Porsche??) automatically close the windows on impact, I wishthey would let us run withthe windows closed and A/C optional :-)

I attended a Ferrari/Lambo/Maserati event at Summit Point last August and it was HOT and HUMID. I followed the written rules and wore long sleeves and pants all day for two hot days. Much to my surprise, the CI who did a ride-along with me to sign me off solo was wearing shorts and a short-sleeved t-shirt.

After that event, I bought a basic zip-up coverall (long sleeves and pants), and I put it on (over my shorts and t-shirt) only when my run group is on track.
