... declaring that NJMP was not ready for racing? I noticed in recent broadcasts (twice) people saying "welcome back" to Dorsey; and I found one stray reference on the interweb regarding a suspension.
For the record, last year NJMP was clearly NOT ready for facing. If you haven't been back this year though, you're missing out. The grass has grown in, and the curbing (on Thunderbolt) is up to FIA spec. No dropped wheels.

You mean the Moby Dick hump? If so, yes, they put serious FIA curbing around that bend so there's no benefit cutting the corner. It keeps the on-track traffic well out from the pit road.
The pit exit was also moved from before turn 1 to after turn 1, although the paving is mighty lumpy.

Was just at T-bolt on 6-17. I did not find any issues with the curbing or pit-in. We did incorporate the 2nd chicane which was a little bumpy coming out of it. The pit out is still bumpy.
