You've probably already thought of this but will there be a thermostat? An issue many racers don't think about is that you can cool your exterior too much. I've actually seen racers putting baggies of ice into their driving suits. This can lead to vaso-constriction actually raising core temps. Much of the work on personal cooling systems was done by the military for work in CBR suits in hot climates. They found optimal cooling was in the 55-62 degree range. You'll still sweat, but cool your core without the risk of the constriction.

Have you run any amp to BTU calulations? What kind of BTU movment do you expect? Phisizks is a biotch and I notice that you are looking at a battery powered version along with the 12 volt system. It would take a very large battery to move one humans worth of heat for any extended amount of tiime even with the newer thermocouples.
