Radio Le Mans says Benoit was conscious when pulled from the car, so that's great news. The car looks royally f'd up and will certainly not just buff out.

The Japanese JLOC team had struggled with electrical stuff. Their Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT doesn't have all of the updates.

The Reiter Engineering IPB Lambo team is a better one, but sponsor stuff kept them from competing in a second consecutive race at Le Mans with their GT1 machine.

Over $100,000 has now been raised by #81 Ferrari

The "Fundraising" Ferrari 430 #81 has now raised over $100,000 for it's "Racing for Children" French charity.
On this occasion the team has chosen to support the charity "Mecenat Chirurgie Cardiaque".
This charity raises funds to bring children with deformities from all over the world to be operated on in France.
Donations can be made at www.mecenat-cardiaque.org

FYI, that's the Team Seattle I mentioned earlier. They've partnered with a "local" French charity that is similar to the Seattle Children's Hospital that they've raised millions of dollars for over the years.

Reported that all the Porsche's were having fuel pick up problems( 8 hours prior to this post) -so problems were early on. Interested to get specifics if this is accurate.

If you're talking Lizard, I think it was Darren Law. (Long drives for the Imsa Performance team).

I think Long's car was having tranny issues.

With the RS Spyder crash just now, this is another sucky Le Mans for Porsche, even though the Essex car is looking good for P1 in P2.
