Default Why would the valving on a 944 escort cup strut be crossed or "X" out.....

I got a pair of Bilstein's and the valving on the front was crossed or X out. It used to say 600 180, which is a value for the valving of the escort cup bilstein struts. Anyone know why it would be crossed out? Would it be due to a custom valve setup? If they did custom valve it, wouldn't they re stamp with the actual valve ratio?

I actually called Bilstein and they are getting back to me, but I doubt they are going to find anything...

I was thinking it could be re-valved, but wanted to see if anyone here has seen this before. If it was also re-valved, why wouldn't stamp in the new vavling, if they are going to take out the old valving......
