TRAGEDY

While Rowan Atkinson is actually a major petrol head his understanding of cars is below par:
"I have a problem with Porsches," he once said. "They're wonderful cars, but I know I could never live with one. Somehow, the typical Porsche people - and I wish them no ill - are not, I feel, my kind of people. I don't go around saying that Porsches are a pile of dung, but I do know that psychologically I couldn't handle owning one."

He was also a keen racer back in the 80's / 90's and I think won the GT5 turbo cup.

Whether on not the McLaren fire was a tragedy is debatable, your Avatar of putting Catsup on a hot dog is a real tragedy. Try doing that in a Hot Dog Shop in Chicago, and they will find you floating face down in Lake Michigan.

Except for a data plate off of a 83 944 (That's about all that was salvageable) I don't own a Porsche any more.
