Well I am glad we got that resolved. Just a point, while it may be OK to use them if properly stored, that is a pretty big caveat to the quality of the tire. I would never pitch a tire that I had that was two years old on that basis alone, If I were asked to buy a two or 3 year old tire without a discount for age I would give that a second thought, if I had to pay, I want a fresh one.

When placing the order I asked if the tires had fresh date codes and was told "yes". Well, they didn't, so I felt a discount was justified. The distributor ended up giving me a partial refund on the purchase price. All is well.
