Need to book somewhere to stay at the VIR club race next month. Anyone have any experience with the villas or lodge?

Yes, both are excellent. I usually stay at the Lodge.

Best Western in Danville near the airport is the closest thing with a Hardees next door if you wanted to grab breakfast on your way out. You will want to call soon because for some reason the hotel rooms dry up in that area all the time.

+1 on the Sleep Inn.

If anything is left at the track it will be the suites above the garages but that's doubtfull as well.

Nothing available at the track as long as a month ago. I usually stay at the Sleep Inn when nothing is vailable at the track. There is a grocery store and other places for food if too tired to drive somewhere. The VIR rate was very inexpensive when I booked.

If VIR is full, the best place to stay is the Berry Hill Resort. I understand that the price is about the same and about the same distance from the track as the others mentioned.

Garage suites are fine. If you are looking for the Chin event, there were two slots available as of Wednesday. Call Tammy at 434-822-2680 for booking.
