Never know ... granted ALMS is big time compared to Trans Am, but they cleaned up there a few years back. They might surprise us ...

not that i want to see them beat Porsche but i would not count them out. for some reason i think the people behind this operation are not in this just for the press, they were and could be serious competitors.

Its not about Porsche for me. The issue is that to be successful in GT, you have to run a car provided by a manufacturer with a serious motorsports department involved in the series. Jaguar doesn't have that. So this team will do just like Doran (a serious operation in itself) with their Ford GT... Nothing.



Long gone are the days of Jaguar's pre eminence in sports car racing. Last time they did ok was with their silk cut prototype.
