Hi,

Is the 944 fest this year going to be at the northern ohio region drivers ed event on June 6th and 7th.

I was down at the dyno yesterday and he said that he got a call about coming out for it. That would be cool to have a dyno there. Can anyone get on it, or is it just for the 944 fest guys.

Of course by then I would expect that my 944 cup race car will be done and on the track.

Yes thats when the event is taking place, June 5-7. Usually people reserve spots on the dyno and pay ahead of time but there is always open space so you should be fine. Think its $75 / 3 runs.

Hey Skip,

How is this one coming ? Looks like I will be able to have the 944 there. Ran it in the work parking lot last night and it ran great. Still tying things up, but so far so good.

Who is doing the dyno runs. Good chance to get my 944cup car on a dyno. Maybe even change the chip and see if there is a difference.

The event is filling up nicely. The 944 Fest is Friday and will be a DE for just 944 variants as well as a dyno shootout for anyone who is interested. Should have a couple of heavy hitters pulling over 500 whp with a 951 - pretty cool to watch. We should have a couple of factor 944 Turbo Cup cars as well as a 968 Turbo.

Saturday and Sunday will be a PCA DE open to all marques. The 944 guys will be camping out both Friday and Saturday in the infield which is always a good time. Nelson sets up a huge bonfire and there will be plenty of beer to go around.

On a personal note - I will have the 944 Turbo racecar (old Technodyne car) on the track after a long rebuild - can't wait.
