NASA Midwest Economic Stimulus package
THE NEW NASA RACER STIMULUS PACKAGE HAS ARRIVED
I am pleased to announce that an un-official program is now officially authorized by Dave and NASA Midwest, INC.
NASA Midwest, INC. will refund $100 toward the cost of a NASA National Membership and NASA Competition License fees for any new NASA member that is a holder of competition license (from another sanctioning body).
The April 2009 Mid Ohio and Road America are the first to be eligible for this program. Because of insurance requirements, there is no way to just waive the fees...all NASA Competition drivers must hold a NASA license and be a valid NASA member. So, instead, NASA Midwest and Great Lakes Regions will be refunding $100 of the driver's entry fee to the driver's credit card immediately following the event.
First it was 3 races for the price of two, now it's 100 bucks back in the bank!
The basics:
Must be a new NASA member and Competition License holder. NASA Midwest, INC. will reimburse $100 of the membership and license fees that get paid to the National Office. Applies to events held during April 2009 at Mid Ohio and Road America only at this time. Applies to Competition and TT License applicants. TT applicants will receive membership plus the TT license fee.
How a new member/license holder gets their refund:
Drivers must join NASA, submit all forms and fees to obtain a license and register for either of the above mentioned events.
Series Directors will need to notify me of any new members and NASA Midwest will refund $100 to the new driver the week following the event.
There's still time to get through the paperwork and make the first race at Mid-Ohio April 10-12.
