WE also know that Alonsa was happy with the situation where he out qualified his so called teammate 18-0 and kept him on board this year. What's the matter, Ghetto Racer wasn't available for the 2009 season?

For sure you don't need reliability anymore, it doesn't matter if you DNF every now and then as long as you win when you finish.

Clearly shows who runs F1, it's all Bernie.
I am against it for the WDC however I guess the constructors still want the points and therefore have a reliability requirement

This new win system is dumb but their proposed 33 mil euro spending limit is much more dumber!

How do you expect top team which now spends 300 million to cut their spending to 33 for next season? Ferrari, Renault & probably McLaren would only be able to pay for one driver and then have nothing left for building their car?

Mosley & Eccelstone are really ****ing up things in a big way this time. Does anyone else besides Bernie like the new point system? I know none of the drivers & team are.

Is this the same Alonso who walloped Schumacher twice, winning 2 WDC and then got him fired after he tried to block qualifying at Monaco out of desperation , Hmmmmm

Well it is not a real spend limit. If you spend more you can, but will add 20lbs to car or something to make you slower. Ok like that is going to help make it cheaper.

For a brief moment, my mind read "every time you win a trophy, it gets attached to the chassis."
Gives the slower guys a chance to win.

Walloped Schumacher twice? Wayne you're spinning out of control.

Oh wait a minute. I see the little "biggulp" smilie. I guess that it means that you're drinking right now.

Pay no attention to him Larry, he seems to forget a rookie got the best of him a couple years ago and had to have Nelsinho to prop up his ego again. The OT section has been tamed and Wayne's coming in here to stir the pot. God help us all if Renault gets off to a good start.
