Default Want to break in a new track?

Central Indiana Region’s annual Spring Brake event will be hosted at the brand new, rolling, twisting, Derek Daly designed, 2.5 mile Bluegrass Motorsports Park! We’ll be making history as our April 24-26, ‘09 event will be the first (ever) at this facility!

The aerial photo belies the substantial elevation changes you’ll experience on track.
Saturday and Sunday will offer the full complement of Performance Driver Education, both in class and in-car - Friday is an instructor-only day.

Registration is at the end of the Requirements section.

The Climbing Esses do remind me of VIR, but you turn RIGHT, not left when you top the hill... I have to remember that little detail.

Just a short 9 hours drive from Des Moines.
A little over 11 hours to Armonk NY.

Nice track. It amazes me in these times that there would be enough money around to pour into a new development like this. You guys are indeed lucky.

guess the money was committed before the economy went south. Hope it works out, more tracks is never a bad thing for us!

Welcome aboard.

The host Hotel is the Ogle Haus / Best Western (Vevay, IN)
812-427-2020 / 1013 W Main

Ask for the Porsche block rate. From what I hear, the rooms are almost filled up.
Here is the link for the Hotels in the area.

Track looks great. Will be funny to see everyone learning the track at the same time so lots of overbraking and early turn in.

That's what I thought. Wonder how long it actually takes to get something like this together from some idea/drawing on a napkin to you guys driving flat out around there?
Wonder how many tracks there are in the US? You guys seem to have one in every town, let alone city. We have a run down one that is going to be closed and redeveloped into housing leaving only one circuit in a city of 4.5 million!
As I was saying, you guys are lucky.

that track looks like it would be awesome to drive. Long and open for the big motor cars, tight & twisty for the small motor guys. What a combination, throw in some up/down hills. That is a perfect weekend. Have fun!!
