That was a bad ride, Rich. Good to hear that you are OK.
Safety gear notwithstanding, you were lucky to walk away without nasty injuries.

Tony
I realize I am incredibly lucky. Been counting up how many of my lives I have used up so far, and not sure I can afford to return to racing. And that hurts the most

Wholeeuphukingchit! Rich that was one nasty hit! Glad to hear your ok, sorry to see the condition of the car but it looked like the gear kept the wear and tear on you to a minimum. That had to shake you up, I can understand the reservation after a hit like that.

Wholeeuphukingchit is right. Glad to hear you'll (ultimately) be OK.

May I ask what happened? If you'd rather not answer, I totally understand. No worries.

Great thread. Thanks for all the tips. Really never considered what to do in the case of a crash you see coming.

Collin.
Have amnesia of the event, but CF card with data and video exists, but 300 miles away. Will get it in next couple of weeks. Leading contender for cause is driver error, followed by equipment failure. Took a bottle of wine to my cage builder
