SOrry guys for my second dumb question of the night but this f#&kin search function is doing my nut!!! As I interprit the PCA rule book my cage is legal but I want to check. It is a safety devices bolt in cage. Dan J fitted it and it has relevant size and thickness plates, however the rear diagnal is not top right hoop to bottom left hoop. It actually goes from the top right hoop to the bottom left side rear leg.

Is anyone else running one of these type cages or has in the past?

RSA #1 had a bolt in Safety Devices, and I was fine. But that was '00-03.

AFAIK okay for PCA, but no go for NASA

Correct, PCA allows it, NASA does not. I used to have that cage and I had it modded for NASA stuff.

for NASA I presume the mod is door bar only?

no, diagonal must be in the same plane as the main hoop

My harness bar was a bolt in as it appears yours is. I removed that and had a new diagonal and harness bar welded in. This was before NASA mandated the extra door bars. If I remember correctly, you can buy extra door bars from safety devices?

Just an FYI, you might consider what I did: after I witnessed a very bad crash with a fatality, I sold the safety devices and bought a custom weld in cage with all the goodies.
