Heck yes! Especially after watching your Wipeout video... ;-)

Does the roster seem smaller than last year at TWS?

I don't know. I was unable to be there last year due to a commitment elsewhere whacking gomers. But, given economic realities, I would not be surprised.

That's pretty funny coming from you. I've seen you do that a couple of times when I've caught you, I mean when you were on corded tires....

BTW, where are your in-car videos.

I must admit, I could compile a similar video of my driving, along with the so called "shuffle steering".

Or it's just a compilation of clips from a driver who actually pushes the limits of his car. If you've never made a mistake on track, you've never driven at 10/10ths.
With all DUE respect, you should not be driving at 10/10ths in a DE.
First, let's not question my abilities or the mistakes I've made.

Second, at a DE, it is important to provide as safe an environment as possible for everyone participating - something this guy clearly didn't seem to be doing.

Dude, I was not questioning you in any way. I was questioning Weston's attitide that driving 10/10ths in a DE is somehow appropriate.

Relax.

I thought it was clear that this was a compilation of clips from multiple events. You don't have to drive at 10/10ths to make a mistake and spin, so obviously it can happen in a DE, and it's really not the crime of the century when it does.

...ahh....thought so... some of the recoveries looked a bit too good for a noob... I'm glad I don't have one of these short stories of my illicit on (and off) track exploits....that said I haven't seen that many ons/offs ins/outs since the paris hilton **** flick....

...is this now a 10/10ths at a DE thread?...

What if 9/10th's is what it took you to just drive to the track?

I never suggested making a mistake was the crime of the century. Rather, I was questioning the wisdom of the following statement you made: "If you've never made a mistake on track, you've never driven at 10/10ths [in a DE]."

LOL. I was using your quote as a beacon of common sense... Precisely that driving 10/10ths (or 11/10ths?) is not appropriate at a DE. In fact, beyond "not appropriate" because it's only a matter of time before someone like that takes out an innocent fellow driver.
