Looks like most of those slides were cause by a small lift off the throttle approaching or at the apex...

Mr. Lifty-Shifty Flat Spot needs to learn about keeping his foot on the throttle, especially in a rear engined car...

I am thnking "drift-o-mania gone wild" myself. Looks deliberate to me and not very well done at that.

WOW.....my local tracks!! This is why I prefer to have the engine in FRONT driving the rear wheels....

talk about shuffle steering, i am no patrick long but was that guy for real, over his head, i dont get it, forget about hurting yourself what about the others, he could not even go straight with out spinning

Agree. Amazing a club would allow someone to put everyone else at risk like that.

I remember that soundtrack well - from back in my younger days when I was getting hooked on cars.
They did have cars back then.
Re the video - staged, correct? I hate this fake Youtube crap (but watched anyway to see what the excitement was all about).

try the youtube link for "more from 171 mph". Some of his other vids will give you a better idea of this driver,s capabilities. His 1:43 at Laguna Seca is not slow for a Cayman, same for his Thill times
