It looks like you put a few miles on those tires! Where'd you stash the crate? As a local I always hope for a Dyson win. I miss the smiley face look from a few years past. Can't wait for the real cars to hit the track!

Mazda power.
I forgots. Are they running the triple rotor Wankel or a V6 of sorts.
It is funny that the Lola cockpit has the steering wheel on the wrong side . . .

Dyson's new LMP2 Lolas have Mazda MZR-R turbocharged I-4 engines. It first raced in the 2007 Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring and it was an all-new engine built by Advanced Engine Research. Direct fuel injection is being developed for the engine. Three teams in the Le Mans Series in Europe will use the engine in 2009.

B-K's Courage C65 with a triple rotor engine needed a turbo.

Thanks.
Never thought about the higher crankshaft height and cooling issues for the rotary powerplant.
Now if they'd develop a turbo 3 rotor for the RX-8.
sidebar: Was at the Philly auto show. 2 guys was looking at the RX-8 there.
One of them got into the back seat through the suicide door. He fit OK.
I asked and he told me he was 6 foot tall.
Not bad for a sport coupe to fit such a passenger in the back.
They had a turbo RX-7.
Guess they have no interest in making a turbo RX-8 and enter it into GT.

Grand Am's Rolex GT class is a mess with tube-frame projects that come and go (Riley-built BMW M6, Crawford-built F430, Crawford-built Infiniti, and more). I think Mazda's tube-frame RX-8 will be the only strong tube-frame gt car left in that series by next year.
