I use them. 2 seasons; no claims. I would love to hear from someone who has actually made a claim. Were you cancelled?

I used them last year... and unfortunately, I did have to file a claim. Very easy and swift payment. To my surprise, they sent me a renewal application via email last week. We'll see if they let me re-up. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the service and hastle-free claim process (although it was a bit annoying dealing with the adjuster in London). Jean DeWit was my agent, and was extremely comforting and reassuring right from the moment of the incident through payment. When I called on Monday morning after the incident, you can imagine that I was somewhat shaken-up and nervous... her exact words were, " I promise you, we are going to make this right"... She was telling the truth; WSIB came through in spades.

My only issue with WSIB is that open track days are ridiculously expensive to insure.

That's good to hear. Was this a racing shunt or DE?

It is my understandiing that an open track day associated with a DE weekend is covered under the standard 10-event policy. BMW has DE's on Sat/Sun in my area and makes the track available to instructors/other invitees all day Friday. Has anyone heard differently?

My experience was that adding 5 open track days increased the premium by about 50%.

They do pay out though.

That's true. Even with the cost I'm still tempted to buy a policy. Mostly because the only cars that seem to have incidences on track are GT3's.
