Spring booster throttle upgrade
#3
On paper it sounds like a neat idea, but does it solve anything? Your foot is connected to a faster processor than the ECU, and given that we generally breathe the throttle to the floor rather than mash it, faster throttle response isn't something we generally need. I think you'd probably compensate by going to the throttle earlier if you could which would counter any delay characteristics. If you do have a car where you notice that the throttle is delayed, I'd give it a try. On the GT3, I couldn't use it since I can't snap the throttle to the floor anyways, and on straight line upshifts there isn't any noticeable lag in getting back to WOT.
For $50 I'd be willing to give it try, but for $399 I'll spend that elsewhere.

Those are a big deal in the Mercedes Benz forum too. Apparently they cancel out the lag time and any adaptive adjustments the MB builds into the throttle-by-wire system. It makes the car FEEL quicker. I suspect that Porsche does not build in the same level of lag time that MB does.
