Default Painting seat shells

I got a used Recaro SPG and the shell is pretty beat up, it has a lot of scratches and stuff.

If I paint this and mask off the stickers would that be OK? Basically, is there any problem painting a seat shell?

Thanks guys.

You'll be fine. Just lightly sand the thing before hand.

You want a paint that'll allow a bit of flex. I forget the exact paint, but I'm thinking of doing my SPG XL's as well. Post pics as you go!

I was gonna krylon it in satin black. That should flex well, if not I'll just repaint it with the right stuff.
