VERY unlikely to be able to find one for less than Trailex. I went the same way about 6 years ago and quickly found out that Trailex was the best value for money and the cheapest around vs custom fab

I agree, having had the same experience when a friend was looking to have one fabricated. The Trailex tire rack is adjustable and works great. Current price on their website is $596.

Overall, it might be less expensive to buy the parts from Trailex and modify as needed. I run 245's and 285's. I could not get 8 across. We modified the original trailex to make it wider.

I have a good fabricator in Northern NJ, but don't have the contact info with me. I'll send it to you tomorrow.

Heck, I spend more on brake fluid in a season than the cost of the Trialex unit

Hey Sean -

There's a great custom welder I use here in Milford CT called 666 Fabrication, Jon Volk. He does beautiful work. Also, my trailex is parked nearby so it could be used as reference as well.

likewise Sean, I picked mine up yesterday so if you want to take any measurements call around (although I guess custom means it will look far from standard!)
