What do you guys who run water in your radiator..
do with your car when it gets really cold (like it is going to be this weekend)?
My garage is not heated fully and if it gets down in the single digits like it's suppose to this weekend I would be worried about the block.
I currently have some antifreeze in the water for this very reason...
Comments and suggestions welcome except if you live in SoCal or South Florida

I always keep a bit of antifreeze in there, even here in Texas.

Year round. Easier that way. Antifreeze + water wetter.
That said, none of the tracks here prohibit it.

I just put some antifreeze in last night. I'm not sure I ran the car enough to get the thermostat to open but I'm hoping its ok. I did have a bit mixed in already.

I ran a space heater in my garage 24/7 for a week or so last month. Got so damn cold around christmas... way colder than it usually gets. My car can take 32 cause it is in the garage... not a finished garage but just being out of the elements helps. But when it got to the teens I was getting sketched out.
I personally know someone who lost a race motor to block freeze last year. Don't want that to happen to me.

Get a quart of anti freeze in there asap and watch out for air in the system doing it.
