Would be happy to orient you to the facilities and introduce you to the big wigs (like mglobe 
). Seriously, he runs the mentor program - relevant to both green and advanced drivers who have never been to TWS. You can return the first timer favor some day - I'm originally from south Louisiana but have never been to No Problem. Have often thought about it since I have family in NO, BR, Laf, Alex, etc...
As far as the track, there should be a signup sheet for yellow to request one of the advanced instructors; you might try to get on that list first thing Saturday morning.

Does anyone know what's behind the handful of "missing" entries for car # at Clubregistration?
During registration, I got a msg about my prior # but I can't recall what it said. It gave me an option to proceed with a request for my old number anyway, and I clicked OK. Now it shows my number assignment as "missing".
I have my prior number right here with me, so it is not in fact "missing"!

That said, there indeed are several different schools of thought and lines for T1. Depends on your car, comfort level with the wall, the transition, etc...

Can you recover a hard drive? I've plugged into another computer & still has boot error. So it may be a difficult recovery.
