I forgot to add that the Land Cruiser in 05 had a smaller tow capacity than the GX 470, about 1000lbs less. It's based on the heavier weight of the Land Cruiser despite having the same 4.7 litre engine. I was told the LC was great up to about 5000lbs total tow weight.

I towed with one for several years (a 1999) and it should be more than adequate for what you are doing.
