Lol, not exactly. Chris' pink pig has been stalled since race season is approaching and he will be putting all his money into his turbo car of course. Joel Karns will have his spec car out there, probably DE only in april as he needs to shake the cobwebs out of it, but then he will be hitting a few spec events this year.
When we get some time, we will hopefully get the widebody car up and running. It is close, but too many other projects at the time. The LS6 car is closer, but again, need some time to sit down and trouble shoot that car as well.
My car is sitting in the garage ready for DE season.

I was trying to extract the clutch fork shaft using a bolt into the shaft pulling through a socket. The shaft was siezed good. I sheered off the bolt trying. I had a spare bell housing so I took a die grinder and sawed up the original to get it off.

Ron,
I have a proposal for your roll cage/budget issue. I have my new cage almost ready for install, its 1.5OD X.095 CrMoly, Double Nascar bars and knee bar. I can use it in my car for PCA, but it doesn't meet NASA or SCCA as my car is over 2500lbs, plus its going to be a real pain to get in and out, so the car becomes a pure track car. I would much prefer the Autopower bolt in cage, despite the weight.
I am getting ready to install the cage, If your interested we could do a swap?
Richard

Did my second PCA club race, Heartland Park. Found another item for you 944 racers to add to your list of items to keep an eye on. The bracket that is welded to the fuel pressure regulator sheared off resulting in a spectacular fire during the Saturday sprint. I have a little work to do to get back to the track now.
