Hoosiers are like crack. Stay away! It's tough to do laps on old tires knowing there's an easy 3 seconds for "just" a grand $$.

Anyhow, If I was doing just DE's, I would fine a racer willing to sell you his Hoosiers when he thought all the "sticky" was out of them.
If I get back into DE's, I may try the Nitto's. Here good things about them.
